Monthly Comic Flapper edisi Juni terbitan Kadokawa mengumumkan bahwa manga komedi Denki-Gai no Honya-san akan dibuat anime adaptasinya. Manga ini ditulis oleh Asato Mizu dan dijadwalkan tayang musim gugur 2014 ini. Informasi lebih lanjut terkait serial animasi TV ini akan dijelaskan kemudian.
Sinopsis: Umio adalah anak pemalu yang baru saja memulai kerja part-timenya di sebuah toko manga di tengah kota. Tetapi gaya hidupnya tidak se-glamor sinar-sinar lampu yang menyinari kota. Teman terdekat Umio adalah teman satu pekerjaannya yang memiliki karakter unik, setidaknya mereka orang yang baik. Mereka adalah grup yang sangat erat, mempunyai nama panggilan untuk masing-masing dan menghabiskan akhir pekan bersama, terlindung dari hal-hal mahal lainnya yang terjadi di luar dunia mereka.

June issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Flapper magazine announced that comedy manga Denki-Gai no Honya-san will be receiving an anime adaptation. The manga is written by Asato Mizu and is scheduled to air this Fall 2014. More information regarding to the TV anime series will be coming soon.
